20 Brews for 2020

New Year, New Beer! We’ve got some really cool new beers in to kick off the new year! Check out our  20 Brews of 2020 list (in no particular order):

  1. Edmund’s Oast Cereal For Dinner- Golden Alen with notes of toasted almond, toasted coconut, and vanilla.
  2. Edmund’s Oast Bound By Darkness- Black IPA / Cascadian Dark Ale
  3. Edumund’s Oast Chocolate Strawberry Turnover-Imperial Stout made with; Cacao Husks, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Madagascar Vanilla Beans
  4. Edmund’s Oast Sour Concord Grape– Our series of fruited American Sour Ales come from a love of fresh fruit flavors combined with mouth-watering acidity. We take the same golden sour base beer and referment it with different fruit combinations.
  5. Holy City Eliza Plum Pudding Porter– Brown Porter with Plum and Spices
  6. Captain Lawrence Pastry Dreams– Dark, delicious, and oh so sweet milk stout featuring chocolate, coconut, and milk sugar.
  7. Captain Lawrence Interstellar Fog- Double dry hopped with Comet and Citra hops, Interstellar Fog is an explosion of juicy tropical and pineapple notes.
  8. Stillwater Gose Gone Wild– This German-style Wheat Ale is part of their Remix Project and it starts life as Westbrook Brewing’s Gose. To that, Stillwater adds “massive doses” of Citra and Amarillo hops and then ferments the beer with various strains of Brettanomyces yeast.
  9. Abomination Hop Thing– Brewed with flaked oats and wheat, hopped and double dry hopped with Zappa, Citra and Mosaic! Beware of the Hop Thing!
  10. Cigar City Oatmeal Raisin Cookie– The genesis of the beer you’re holding in your hand was pretty simple. We asked ourselves, “What if a beer tasted like an oatmeal raisin cookie?” The answer to our rhetorical question was to add raisins, lactose and cinnamon to Maduro, our English-style Brown Ale, a beer that showcases flavors of caramel, toffee and chocolate. The combination of the base beer and the additional ingredients resulted in a beer that tastes like it was baked in Grandma’s oven.
  11. Voodoo Ranger American Haze– With notes of passionfruit and freedom, American Haze is a supremely drinkable, juicy and unfiltered IPA brewed with all-American hops.
  12. PBR Hard Coffee– Coffee flavored malt beverage. (Delicious description, no?)
  13. Abita Macchiato Espresso Milk Stout– Abita Macchiato Espresso Milk Stout combines the rich flavor of roasted coffee with a full-bodied stout. Pale, caramel, chocolate and roasted malts create a dark color and intense flavor. Willamette hops balance the malt flavors, while natural milk sugar and oats add sweetness. During the cold brewing process, espresso dolce beans from PJ’s Coffee are added for a natural coffee flavor.
  14. Sloop Next Level NEIPA– Brewed with hops from the Pacific Northwest and down under for a big, bold double IPA with notes of underripe cantaloupe and candied orange peel.
  15. Southern Tier Nitro Hot Cocoa– Southern Tier’s Blackwater Series introduces NEW flavor, Hot Cocoa. The nitro provides a fully sensational experience that you can hear, see & taste. With rich natural chocolate and hints of marshmallow, Hot Cocoa is the perfect pairing to stay warm during a cozy night.
  16. Goose Island So Low– So-Lo is a full bodied IPA with big aroma, citrus and herbal aroma notes, and a nice balanced bitterness. If the can didn’t mention it, you’d never think it was a low cal beer but now that the cat’s out of the bag… surprise. Cheers!
  17. Hi Wire Hop Circus– Mosaic and El Dorado hops. Fermented with apricots and peaches.
  18. Founders Espresso KBS– KBS gets its coffee fix in the very first variant to come from our beloved bourbon barrel-aged stout. Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. The result is a fresh and snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer.
  19. Wicked Weed Pompeon– Sour ale aged in rum barrels, made with pumpkin and ginger.
  20. Bud Light Seltzers... JUST KIDDING!!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
