Did you know Gills Creek Watershed is where YOUR water comes from if you live in Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, and Arcadia Lakes; Richland County, and the US Army’s Fort Jackson? We got up close and personal with Gills Creek right before we opened during the “thousand year flood,” and have teamed up with the Gills Creek Watershed Association ever since to help restore and protect it-(even though it almost engulfed our store.)
We love brown water as much as the next person, but not so much when it’s not mixed with a delicious mash bill and aged in a barrel. That’s why we’re so excited to have the Gills Creek Watershed Association in this Saturday from 12-3 to help you (and us) learn more about how to keep the brown water in Bottles and the clear water in the creek!
