Bottles Columbia: Memorial Day Weekend Picks

The long weekend is calling — stop into Bottles to stock your cooler for the lake, the backyard and anywhere else you may be headed this Memorial Day. Our team put together some of their favorite products for the holiday weekend, perfect for keeping you feeling refreshed in the summer heat! Check out our picks below:

Lafage Miraflors Rosé

The Miraflors Rosé is sourced from old vines of Grenache Gris, nearing 80 years old, planted near the Mediterranean. Added to this are some Mourvedre grapes. This a direct press rosé with the color coming from the skins of the pink Grenache Gris berries, and naturally, from the much darker Mourvedre. It is aged in tank for 4 months before bottling.

Sweetwater Tropical Lover

An easy drinking Berliner Weisse, Tropical Lover delivers aromas of mango, passion fruit, and guava up front, which transition into a lightly sweet and refreshingly tart finish.

River Rat Lemon Wheat

Traditionally wheat beer is brewed for those hot summer months. River Rat Lemon Wheat is brewed with a touch of lemon peel for a crisp finish. Enjoy this brew on the hottest of those South Carolina days. Served best with backyard barbecues, lawn chairs and the satisfaction of a well-mowed yard.

Zima

Zima, the citrus-flavored, crystal-clear malt beverage that made a big impact in popular culture in the early 90s, is coming back to stores for a very limited time. Grab yours while they last!

Cheers!
