What?
The tasting will feature 4 Italians:
Feudo di Santa Tresa, Frapparo: A chillable, fruity, light Sicilian red just made for the back porch or pool! This has been one of the big hits this summer.
Purato, Catarratto & Pinot Grigio blend: A summer sipper with the familiar light, crisp body of Pinot Grigio but with the fresh floral, citrussy notes that are classic Sicily.
Pecchenino, San Luigi Dogliani: This wine from the Dolcetto grape is the everyday grape in the Barolo region. It’s a great wine for grilling burgers or pizza night.
Il Chiosso, Fara: An old school Nebbiolo (the Barolo grape) blend from a Gattinara house. A very elegant wine for steak. This a very difficult to find wine from a tiny DOC and a Bottles exclusive in South Carolina.
We are excited to have Jason Nolley, Regional Manager for Vias Imports, narrating the wine tasting. Vias Imports has a portfolio of over 200 Italian wines featuring indigenous Italian varietals. A great opportunity to broaden your wine knowledge while enjoying some great bottles!
