Mom-Worthy Mimosas

After all she’s done for you, Mom deserves a little more effort than just plain ol’ champagne and o.j., don’t ya think? These super-easy Mimosa recipes we found on countryliving.com will put a special spin on Mother’s Day brunch.

Lemonade Mimosas with Blood Orange:

  • Add 1 1/2 cups fresh blood orange juice to 6 cups lemonade.

  • Pour equal parts blood orange lemonade and Champagne into each glass.
  • Garnish with a blood orange slice.

Mandarian Mimosa:

  • Pour 2 oz of mandarin juice into each champagne flute – should be about half full for most champagne glasses.
  • Add a dash of the orange liqueur or Grand Marnier.
  • Top off each drink with 2 oz of champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Serve immediately.

Mimosa Smoothie:

  • 1 c. vanilla yogurt
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. champagne
  • *Be sure ingredients are all cold!
  • Combine ingredients in a blender and mix until frothy.
  • Divide evenly among glasses.
