St. Pats in the Holy City

Charleston never needs a reason to party, so when St. Pats rolls around there’s no shortage of places to celebrate. We’ve picked out some of our favorite spots around Charleston to get your green on:
Sullivan’s Island:
Everyone knows Sullivan’s Island is the place to be in Charleston for St. Pats. Dunleavy’s Pub pours Guinness by the gallons and green beer is on every corner. Home Team BBQ on Sully’s also serves up their famous Gamechangers, but they’re green for the day of course.

Mt. Pleasant:
If you don’t want to deal with the Sullivan’s Island madness, McCanns Irish Pub in Mt. Pleasant is a great place to party for St. Pats! This Irish owned and operated pub will serve you the perfect pour of Guinness alongside authentic Irish cuisine.

My Father’s Moustache is another great spot in Mt.P to spend St. Pattys. This English-style pub was voted Best Authentic Pub and Best Pub food of Charleston.

Downtown:
If you’re looking for a higher-end St. Patrick’s day experience, Prohibition is the perfect spot. With over 50 Irish Whiskey’s on the menu, Guinness on draft, and an amazing menu this is the perfect place for a low-key celebration.
