Winter Burrrrrrs Are Rollin' In!

Winter beers are rolling in! Get started on your Christmas list and stock up on your favorites for around the table. They move fast, so make sure you get ’em before they’re gone. New in this week:
Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout
This will be the last run of CBS for a while, so make sure you stock up while you can! We’ve got 22oz bombers available at our Columbia location and 4pk bottles available in Mt. Pleasant and Columbia.
Brewer’s notes: “CBS was born when we stumbled upon some bourbon barrels that had previously housed maple syrup. We opted to put the same base beer as KBS, an imperialized version of Breakfast Stout, in the maple barrels and, after one taste, we knew we had something special. Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience.”

Abita Christmas Ale
This is a great beer for those of us who aren’t huge fans of the overly-spiced winter ales. An easy-drinking brown ale that’s great for tailgating, oyster roasts, and anything else in the chilly weather.
Brewer’s notes: “Our Christmas Ale is a brown ale that is brewed with six types of malted barley and fermented with American Ale yeast. It is brewed with pale malt as well as a combination of Caramel, Biscuit, Munich, and chocolate malts. It is hopped and dry-hopped with Columbus, Cascade, Centennial, and Amarillo and has a nice piney and citrus hop flavor and aroma. The result is a flavorful brown ale that is sweet and malty with a pleasant hop aroma.”

Shiner Cheer
Another great winter beer if you’re not into the spicy Christmas ales. Brewed with pecans and peaches, this one is a unique twist on holiday brews.
Brewer’s notes: “Holiday traditions come in all shapes and sizes. Ours comes in freshly wrapped bottles and cans. This Old-World Dunkelweizen is brewed with Texas peaches and roasted pecans– perfect for cracking open in front of a crackling fire.”
