It’s pretty hard to come by Chateau Lynch Bages Blanc. I have an importer bring me a few cases a year. Lots of hay, cut grass and honey notes, delicately clean and crisp. Super complex, and crazy delicious.
On my first trip to Italy, I brought a bottle back of the 1999 Valdicava Brunello. I opened it after I got engaged to my wife in 2013.
Krug N/V Champagne is a New Years’ Day tradition with smoked fish and shellfish, charcuterie, and mixed cheeses. I’m a big fan of big, rich, barrel-aged Champagne.
